I just now saw an short interview by Rajeev Masand with Danny Boyle in CNNIBN today, where Danny mentioned, He cannot explain the west what a genius composer Rahman isand how many records he has sold here, He mentioned that this was the high time in his career for being worked with a person like Rahman, He also mentioned that he had a different song already selected for the end credits and Rahman had asked him if he can provide a appropriate song for that and Danny accepted and there we go , Jai ho rocks. Danny also mentioned that he did not wanted to be like other hollywood directors to hide the music in the background and that he wanted to project it directly like a normal Indian movie so there were songs and dance in the film ends.
