Re: [arr] Rahmans track for Tsunami....to Rags

2006-12-16 Thread ar rahman djs
Hi Raghv,
no need to mention thx buddy. all of us r here to share n help each other. so
no need thx all. oh bout the missing albums, OMG i can say that, almost half of
us here facing the same prob. the old albums r very hard to find. keep on
hunting buddy, im sure 1 day ull got all of the collections of Rahman anna.

Well dont consider the 100 votes as a rag. i think nobody rags here, but i jz
tot to add some humour in this group. so that it will be much more interesting.
at the same time all of us can be very close "Rahman Frens". hehe...do u agree
with me?

of course Roobaru desreves to win it. but v have to be very carefull during
the final days of voting. im checkin the votes evyday. till now its still
steady. whenever it found it dropping, ill alert to our group. anythin can
happen inthe last minute. there r a lot of Rahman bashers out there. simply u
can call them "Manggo". hehelol... take care my fren.

Ofcourse the word "string arrangements" didnt catch my eyes :-) I kind of
have an acquired taste for Rahmans music. My CD-Rack is filled with him albums,
excpet a handful which am hunting for ( i have missed some really important
ones which am embarassed to mention here :0)

Ofcourse I did vote for Roobaro not 100 times though ( that was a nice try to
rag the newcomer :-)) well, i voted around 8 times :-) but I seriously think,
the song will come out as a TRUE WINNER! without we casting 100 votes each. The
song has the power in itself.

anythin special there. im sure u have heard this song in a very little number.
maybe once or twice. even it doesnt ROCKS, but hear the magical musics from
Rahman anna. i suggest u something. hear the song (minimum) once a day,
continue it for 4-5 days in a row. then ull love it buddy. im sure of it. Guys
(the seniors here), what do u think? do u agree with my suggestion to our fren
here. anyway thx 4 joining us buddy. dont 4get to vote 4 Roobaru. newcomers are
required to make at least 100 votes. if not ur registration will be cancelled.

Just wanted to share this with the group. Honestly ( no offence meant ) the
song didnt impress me, knowing the intensity of music Rahman has in him. I felt
the Lyrics (sepecially the english part) is too casual,,, and the video could
have been made better by including more shots of the actual pain experienced by
tsunami victims.
Nevertheless, its a great thought, and full credits to Rahman for constantly
thinking on these grounds.

Hello Raghu,

Welcome to the group. FYI, Rahman HAS NOT composed the Donasian song. He is
the string arranger ( dunno what the means!) and that he features in the
video. Thanks,

Gomzy
