There is a 2-disc DVD in the US that features the English version on
one disc and the Arabic version (without subtitles) on the other.

2007-12-17 Thread shahul hameed
Pavan, the movie is in english.. It was directed by Moustapha Akkad in
1976.. He is from Hollywood and so the movie cant be in arabic.. you have
seen the arabic dubbed version i suppose..

And the 'Allahu Akbar' that comes at the end is not a song.. those are
verses from the Holy Quran..

Btw, Is Rahman doing the complete background score for the film or just that
one song?

Just type "The Message" in IMDB. The actors in the movie are major
Hollywood actors (of the time) like Anthony Quinn. The movie is
originally in English, but "Ar-Risalah" is the Arabic name of the
movie, and they kept the title for the Hindi-Urdu version I guess,
meaning "The Prophethood".

I think the producers are going to do the same mistake
done by WATER's producers.although there is
minimum scope of music in this kind of movie but
giving music and a song to this movie is itself
brilliant job.i think they should promote it more
