I have a friend who works in Sify and it seems most of their movie news is from unreliable sources like gossip mongers. Some are true and some arent. 

Remember they said few days back that people are forcing Shankar to unite with ARR. Shankar is not someone who bents for market needs. The truth is that they never had bis issues like what was made out in press. 

 
All said and done I too hope this news is true :-) .. it will really music to the ears

well im from malaysia and im no foreigner to the tamil cinema, 
believe me... plus i listen to ARR's songs from both hindi and tamil 
and i love them all undividedly, even my family members get puzzled 
from my interest, and ive learnt a great deal of tamil language from

something which every tamil speaking person simply lap up and if you don't speak 
tamil it may not really appeal to you in the first listen because the music is

been going thru the postings about ARR composing for rajini are chart 
toppers, muthu, padayappa and baba... as ive heard them all in 
malaysia, it really reminded me of the ARRs worst songs poll... not 
sounding mean or anything, but i feel that rajini and ARR dont make a 
good combo by default, and thus the songs turn out the way they r. As
