[arr] Re: The truth is Himesh and Yuvan are No.1...lets face it....
dear friends i read all of your comments very carefully, i agreed it but there are some main facts which no body can ignore even he is ARR's fan or any other MD's these are some points: * A. R. Rahman brought for the first time original hindi music in world. * he has his own and very creative style that other MDs don't. * whenever he scores for his next project, he always composed it as its his very first project. (this the main reason that every time his sounds like a difference). yeah, if MDs like Himesh and yuvan or whatever who are.. if their songs are going on streets and over all boundries, then due to just their tempo (only music related persons can understand), not their creativity. now the main thing and fact.. A R Rahman is the No. 1 ever, ever and forever.. thanx and nice to be wrote from your ways yasser (dubai) Explore, Experience, Enjoy A.R.Rahman - The Man, The Music, The Magic. [arr] Re: The truth is Himesh and Yuvan are No.1...lets face it....
i think rahman should reduce giving importance to story line.u see most of the hit music is from pure commmercial movies.not many such commercial movies have good & different scripts.if anumalik can give such good music for Mein hoo naa or any recent hit movie u take imagine what rahman can do.i think rahman wants different situations for songs.not the common romantic numbers.he doesnt get such different situational songs to compose for these commercial movies.also for last 5 years i have not seen him working with a new director or with young director(in hindi).hes working with bengal, mani, shankar, asuthosh etc.he should also work with young breed of MDs who have lot of talent in them.i remember the response for nee manasu naaku telusu(E 20 U ..) & boys.from my college mates.most of them loved it & danced to those numbers.so if rahman works for such films more he will reach masses once again.we should not forget that rahman shot fame with such films those days.A swades ,MP,Bose doesnt reach masses as that of commercial films.but i cant understand one thing.he deos that only with hindi films. He chooses such commmercial films in telugu & tamil but in hindi he bounds to script for choosing a film. Also hes costly & takes some time(sometimes).even that is also making some of the new commercial directors not to apprach for him.otherwise who doesnt want rahman to b MD for their film.this is just my opnion of why rahmans music is not at its deserved position & why other MDs getting better sales. well written krrish, yes u r right that himesh's albums sell more that rahman and thats because auto and taxi drivers buy cassetes and most of the youngsters buy MP3's or download these songs but to say he is the NO.1 is too much. even maruti 800 sells more that mercedes. that doesn't make it the NO.1 car? if rahman comes in his music videos im sure he's gonna sell more than himesh any day. even today u ask anyone to choose between rahman and himesh i can asssure 99% will choose rahman. before himesh, nadeem shravan were d favrites among auto and taxi drivers. and u know that music channels promote himesh. one more thing himesh makes music videos not film music. shaadi se pehle and banaras had his music but flopped miserably. no one waits for an himesh album d way everyone waits for a rahmans album. y doesn't he get good movies like rahman? let him give hit music without coming in a video then v can compare him with SEL. rahman is far away my friends. lets see if himesh is still around in 2008? let him have a concert and we'll see if 4 people turn up and even if they do what does he have to offer?? --- In arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com, "coolwiz80" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Guyz, > > After looking at all these news items spreading around saying that > Yuvan and Harris are no.1 in south and Himesh is no.1 in north and > many of you guyz wanting to spread war, I thought may be its time for > all of us to stop criticizing everyone and start questioning > ourselves. > > Forget good music, excellent music.
