'Lost' to Bollywood in 2000, 'Lost' to Hollywood in 2009, what are you talking about mate? We can never lose Rahman sir. He and his music will always reside in our hearts. With globalization and his music getting recognized worldwide, Rahman & we fans are gaining not losing anything. I hope he does more Hollywood projects so that whole world can know more about his talent. --- In arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com, live for arr Live wrote: > > With OSCAr's victory on one hand and bringing glory to India, arr told today morning to one of the news channels, that he will be ome time in LA, some time in Chennai nd some time in Mumbai. > > we lost ARR from 2000 to Hindi films and from 2009 we will lose him to Hollywood films. > It's pity that we cannot hear more of him in Tamil. hope ARR listens to this and show some mercy to us. >

Don't forget Gautham Menon. The new combo is sure to rock! And Gautham does almost 1 movie a year... --- On Thu, 2/26/09, Dinesh wrote: From: Dinesh Subject: [arr] Re: We will lose ARR's Music To: arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com Date: Thursday, February 26, 2009, 6:13 AM Dude, prepare for some bashings... haha... but yea man i know im just as selfish... im quite depressed to see ARR scoring 1 or 2 movies in Tamil only, what more when he gotta spend some time in hindi films and hollywood... probably he will only do mani's film in tamil (wow... a rare case nowdays), Shankar's films... (1 film in 2 years) and what not. probably after this we will only have 1 tamil film in 2 years or so only its sad, but im definitely more than happy to see him reach higher level... all the best to him --- In arrahmanfans@ yahoogroups. com, live for arr Live wrote: > > With OSCAr's victory on one hand and bringing glory to India, arr told today morning to one of the news channels, that he will be ome time in LA, some time in Chennai nd some time in Mumbai. > > we lost ARR from 2000 to Hindi films and from 2009 we will lose him to Hollywood films. > It's pity that we cannot hear more of him in Tamil. hope ARR listens to this and show some mercy to us. >

I do not know how you will ever miss him. Please dont try to restrict ARR to tamil.. You can be proud for being from sate language as him but asking him to do more tamil films is like asking him to sacrfise his international offers which is not a fair request. Dont you only think about yourselves, think about ARR too.. He likes to work with various artists, genres, across the borders. Why cant you and all enjoy his hollywood music equally good? I do not think anyone in the group will agree to limit ARR to one language, if you love him, let him win the world. We need to grow with him not pull him down with us. >

He is going nowhere, the fact that he still works from Chennai for all his projects says it all. He himself had said in an interview that he'd never let go off Tamil - Hindi music for H'wood. >

Are you sure? I dont think I will because for me its his music what matters and dont care if its English or Hindi or Tamil. When we wish to see him winning Oscars awarded from Hollywood did it matter it wasn't a Tamil award. >
