Everyone wrote off A R Rehman last year. He scored music for just one movie (Ah Aah) and could not be seen in Kollywood at all.
There were reports that he had fallen out with director Shankar and hence the latter had Harris Jeyaraj scoring music for him in Anniyan. Bouncing back with vigor, Rehman is on the fast track to re-establish his supremacy in the Tamil film industry. He has joined hands with his old friend Shankar again for Rajinikanth starrer Sivaji. He has nearly half-a-dozen movies lined in Tamil which includes Godfather, Jillendru Oru Kadhal, a couple with S J Suryah and of course Kamal Haasan's Dasavatharam.
