[arr] SONG TITLE FOUND!!!

2008-04-15 Thread Bruno Casolari
Hello Mr. Pradeepan-

Yes that's it, Thendrale such a beautiful song, and you are right the
interlude is superb! I see another poster is familiar with the Hindi version -
Jaane Ja E Hawa. Any idea where I might find these the Tamil Hindi Versions,
and purchase the recording for download? I can't find them on ITunes, and I
doubt any of the stores in the US would have them.

Thank you again for your help, you must have a vast musical knowledge to have
been able to pick that out!

  Best,

  Bruno

Hello Mr. Pradeepan,

I've recorded what the song kind of sounds like, and attached it as a wave
file (please excuse my singing).

I'm a school music teacher here in Key West Florida, USA. I want to share
some of the music I heard while traveling in Sri Lanka and India with my
students. This song in particular was very special to me and I listened to it
often as I rode the buses and trains in India, and I really want to share it
with my students. That is why I am trying so hard to find it.

  Many thanks for your help,

  Bruno

Hello All,

I had an opportunity to spend some time in Jaffna at the northern tip
of Sri Lanka in 2005. While there I was exposed to Hindi and Tamil
music for the first time...and it was absolutely amazing, and life
changing!

In particular I really appreciate the music of Mr. A.R. Rahman. I
have unfortunately lost the compilation CD which I bought in Jaffna
and although I was able to locate many of his songs on ITunes, there
is one in particular I am unable to find...

Although I do not remember the title I remember it was a slow song
(ballad), and had the word India in the first line...I am unsure if
it was in Hindi, or Tamil, and I think the first word began with a
vowel...something like...

...Ha ah re ha..India...

I know it's a long shot but if anyone knows the song I am talking
about I would really appreciate the title.

Thank you for reading!

hi Mr. Casolari,
Pls. see these 2 links.

It allows you to purchase thru' iTunes. I dont know if it works all the
way..
http://www.imeem.com/people/ceZieX/music/IMlRisYw/tamilmp3tunecom_thendralae_kaadhal_desam/

The Hindi version of the Actual Tamil is available for purchase as
individual tracks from amazon.com
- which is the version you had listend to first.
http://www.amazon.com/Duniya-Dilwalon-Ki/dp/B000QZWUTI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8s=dmusicqid=1208281114sr=8-1
I have used amazon.com for buying mp3s and know its pretty good in terms of
Quality Reliablity.

Glad that you liked the song.
btw I am no 'knowledgeable' guy in Music. I just love ARR Music :))
