Its obviously not Nithyashree !! In Hindi version of the same song, credits mention about Kavita Paudwal and Sangeetha. Now in Hindi and in Tamil, Sangeetha is the only name thats same in the credits. I don't think it's nithyashree. Nithyashree's first film song was Kannodu Kaanbathellam, also from Jeans. If I'm not wrong, it was Sangeetha who sang the Varaiyo Thozhi. Its Sangeetha and she is a versatile singer who can replicate KB Sunderambal. Sangeetha used to wrok with Deva a lot. ARR just used her only in this song.
