Whether ARR goes to stay at Los Angeles or to Moon or to Mars, he would
never refuse to do a movie for Mani, Shankar, Aamir, and several others.

In this era of net, world is a global village and physical distance
matters very less.

2009-02-26 Thread vijayaraj -
I think ARR should give equal importance to kolly, bolly and hollywood.
Its not a point of doing more movies in hindi or tamil. There are a lot of
talented directors. He should select his movies accordingly. If he likes the
story he should do it irrespective of the director, languages etc.(As i say
this I still miss him in tamil...)

I fully agree with you there Mr. Anand though I won't qauntify. I thin many a
times His efforts are getting wasted in a badly made movie. Both Hindi and
Tamil directors should improve their standards to meet ARR's.

Just my take. Ideally I would like to see ARR doing not more
than 5 movies a year (I international, 3 Hindi and 1 Tamil). He is known more
for quality than quantity and I am sure he will keep this in mind in spite of
going
to be inundated with offers. I guess the likes of Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra
would now want to work with him just to get their names tagged with a Academy
Award winner though they might probably live to regret they never got a
chance . As for scoring in Tamil, first the directors over there would need to
pull up their socks and raise their standards to the level of AG, ROM or MR
before ARR can do more projects. I don’t want to see a talent like ARR
getting involved in crap projects in Tamil. My major worry is how he is going
to manage the different time zones. I hope he gets enough rest.

I think ARR is a kind of whiz kid blessed by his spirituality
and in which ever industry he arrived (Kolly, Bolly or Holly) he did so with a
bang so he is going to continue to do so in future. In terms of awards, there
is really nothing more to achieve except as said in one interview the Nobel
Peace prize which I am sure he will do one day as well. Peace through music.. If
it happens, what a day that will be.

"Both Hindi and Tamil directors should improve their standards to meet
ARR's."

Beautifully said, Mahima. Now we are an Oscar standard country, but i am
sad to concede that several things in our Hindi and other regional film
industries don't just measure up. We need to improve them drastically.

Of course, every country, every language, even Hollywood must be
producing enough number of trash every year that doesn't reach us so we
don't come to know, Still I find that they do produce enough no. of good
movies to uphold their world leadership.

Whereas in India, a movie is considered big or gets popularity only is
some top 2-3 actors are in it, and not because of the content.

Dont be so NARROW MINDED... In whichever language ARR scores, we are going
to get his DIVINE TOUCH!!...
Iam a Malayalali, and I have heavy leaning to Tamil music and films... I
Seldom watch Holly flicks..(Except Speilberg films, I rarely watch any other
flicks)

But I dont want to be selfish by wanting ARR in Tamil and Malayalam.. I want
him to do Hindi films, and I want him to be the GLOBALLY NO.1
COMPOSER...Hence I want him to do a minimum of 3 BIG HOLLYWOOD FILMS a
year!!

We are NOT LOSING him or anything ARR is our own even if he scores
for French movies...

For that matter, " Ballelaka Tune was given when he was in Australia.

3. ATM tunes were sent to the Lyricists sitting in Canada or UK

It doesnt mind where he is, but his roots are always attached to

Instead of worrying about all this, just enjoy his music as it comes
