Mr.Kumar Taurani (MD-Tips) was delighted to know this and added on a light note that he had specifically told Pritam he wants the biggest album of the year or the consequences will not be good! Well, Pritam did end up creating the best album of the year after 6 months of hard-work. Does it come as a surprise then that the first runner up this year is also an album by Pritam? It's the lovable Love Aaj Kal. Pritam said, "I am overwhelmed with the kind of audience appreciation that has come my way for Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. I was expecting this album to work well with the audience but the way it has reached the top has been quite an exhilarating journey. 2009 has been particularly good with Billu followed by Love Aaj Kal, New York and Tum Mile. I look forward to many more happy music outings in 2010 as well." The second runner up this year is the album with a heart, Delhi 6. A.R.Rahman's music and Prasoon Joshi's lyrics had to get the album in the Top 3 this year.
