I completely agree with vishwesh. there is no way Asha Bhonsle saying anything bad about new generation MDs or trying to Advertise RD Burman (what a ridiculous word to use) come on, do u really think someone like rd burman needs to be advertised to get popularity?? And another thing is, bashing Himesh reshammaiyya and asha bhonsle or hailing about Nadeem sravan's melodies are not what most of we fans would like to see in the groups. neither any comparison charts of AR Rahman and haris jayraj or what ever. instead of these senseless topics why not we talk something about the music of AR Rahman, which is what this group is really meant to be. Now i would like to list down some of the senseless topics happened recently. 1. Haris jayraj vs. ar rahman there were many topics of this kind. some saying haris is better some saying yuvan is better, .. and none were talking about ar rahman's music. 2. Nadeem sravan.. welll that one was all the way from afghanisthan.. was the funniest post i have ever read in this forum. the guy had no idea what he was talking about. and lot of ppl including me tried to bark at him (WAste of time) 3. ar rahman copies this thing is still happening at a random basis. and every time someone posts something like we all start to talk some sense to them. but all those efforts, eventually will be a waste of time. 4. bashing others what did Himesh reshmaiya or asha bhonsle do to AR Rahman for us to criticise them like this. Himesh reshmaiya might not be a good MD or he might have a nasal accent, but he only expressed his love for the music of ar rahman and instead of accepting the honestly, we all started bashing him. and now, Asha bhonsle, this is ridiculous thing saying such bad things about a great singer without any facts in it. 5. replying to all these above said posts well thats what i am doing. in fact these senseless threads are to be ignored but couldnt help. so few of us starts to reply to the threads of these kind to waste the time. no offense to anyone. i respect the right of expressing ur openion. but, by posting these kind of threads, it is degrading the quality of a wonderful group. thanks for reading regards Roshan __ Yahoo! i recently read an asha bhonsale interview. i have noticed that she in her interviews always says that todays music composers are not great and no one has the passion for music like rd burman. if she wants to advertise rd burman then y compare him to todays music composers and if still she compares then she should make it clear that she is not talking about rahman. all these yesteryear greats are jealous of rahmans popularity. i respect asha and rd burman a lot but rahman is the god of music. no one can b compared to rahman. i used to hear only rd burmans songs till i heard rahman. no musician in india has been as popular as rahman. accept that asha. rd burman was great but rahman is greatest. rd burman composed music for 300 films. can u name 100. rahman has composed music for 35 hindi films and v can name them all. thats d magic and thats d consistency.sorry if im being rude. but im sure most of u agree with me. This is a height of senseless talking.You are just assuming things overreacting to that. what is worse, that u are talking nonsense about a legend who gave her whole life to music.ARR himself respectsher so much. She is one of the greatest voices in Indian music. for that matter,one of ARR'sfavorite singers.ARR too is one of her favorite MDs. She always speaks about him in a very affectionate way. So when she says "today's MDs", pls keep in mind that ARR is an "honorable exception"for thatby Default. And by the way, she is as popular as ARR if not more, all over the world, so she being jealous of ARR is the most ridiculous thing I'veread recently.And for God's sake, stop comparing between other MDs ARR. stop defending him in this silly way ofbashing others. In recent times, this "verbal bashing" is very much increased in our group, someone says something about ARR, many starts bashing him/her without any obvious thinking. Just like here, Asha ji wasn't even referring to ARR, but still,she's receiving this "dosage of facts n' figures"without any due respect. You say that "urespect asha and rd burman a lot", but I didn't found any of thatin your mail.ARR reads our mails guys, and I don't think that reading comments like these, written by his "die-hard fans", would make himvery happy.
