Nope a Singaporean, Mohamad Rafi is the composer. He has been in the local music scene for a long time and has a band with his brothers called the Vasantham Band. He has also worked with AR Rahman since the days of Kadhal Desam. He has sung in the film too. His most prominent song with ARR would be the song Jumbalaka from En Swasakatre. He has also sung a song for haris in the movie pachaikili muthucharam. The song Anbulla Maan Vizhiye in the movie is from his own album titled Listen.
