Rawat,
Interesting perspective.
That said, you already have responses from people on the team that they
love the song.
For me Khili Re is like intermission in a fast paced action movie. Helps
you catch your breat and relax before you get some more of an intense fast
paced album. If the album is anything to go by ( in Mani's movies they are),
this movie is going to be a treat to our senses ( and emotions) !

Actually, it is not really NOT liking, it is more like not rating it
as the best song of the album.
Not many of us has Khili Rey as our most fav of Raavan songs. And some
of the reasons cited are:
- it is too short
- ARR has given equally good or better (and longer songs earlier)
Does anyone have any third reason for not rating is the best song of
the album? please do mention.

Now, to all those who don't rate Khili Re as the best song of Raavan,
my request is to name all female solo songs by OTHER MDs (mention only
non-ARR songs) of last 18 years that were better than or as sweet and
hummable and soothing as Khili Rey.
I thought about it and I couldn't find any single non-ARR female solo
song of last 18 years worth mentioning here in comparison of Khili Rey.
So, even when there is no song by other MDs better than it or as good
as it, even then if we don't rate it as the best song of the album,
that means ARR has competed with himself and ...
That means ARR has raised our standards and expectations drastically,
over what other MDs can give to us.
My own favs are Kata Kata, Behne De and then Khili Rey, so I am also
guilty of undermining a great ARR song on account of non-songs
drawback that it is too short and that ARR has given equally good or
better songs earlier.
