Come on come on Oh kamatchi Wondering why such a mail (as below ) has not come for some time. Ramesh, if you love VV then better for you. I am not against it...but to compare apple with oranges..its ridiculous.. What GF music is for what GF as film has evolved. Why not compare Thotti Jaya and GF and see who scores. I can sense and make an idea about the story of GF with the songs itself..Now tell me can you guess the story of VV with the songs alone. As ROM said in one of the interview Rahman, I do not want music vedios. ARR doen't give songs for music vedios...his music are more like inseperable part of films. Just when i tought stuff like this would end after the release of RDB GF.It looks like everytime HJ releases an album, ARR's album is seen as a measuring stick for comparison. No ARR fan would consider HJ's albumsas a ''masterpiece". He is good in his own way and i hv liked some of his songs but in no way he is comparable 2 our BOSS. ARR is not a personwho glorifies his success and fame instead he is a genius who constantlytries hard to give something different and has the guts to experiment with new and innovating stuff and he always if not everytime succeds in a big way. That's why people like him are known as trend-setters while others like HJ are trend-followers. I've said this before and i'm saying it again. Times change. What worked then may not work now. If those days ARR's songs was vry successful even when the films failed and he was the reason for many successful movies then, today the scenario hv changed. The reason 'suttum vizhi'became a hit was because of the films success as well as the good picturisation.
