What do you think of Indian composer A R Rahman whose Jai ho... from Slumdog
Millionare has enthralled the world and won him an Oscar?

He is a very promising composer. I have heard interesting compositions of
Rahman and would love to work with him in the near future though my all-time
 favorite is John Williams.

Good prompt reply.

I haven't heard Williams, but it is natural that when some great
director is using his contributions years after years, he has to be good.

By making such comments, we make ourselves appear like a frog in a
well who think their well to be entire universe. Our love for our man
is true and our man's capabilities are great, still, in our
enthusiasm, let's not undermine other creative persons.

it was like saying

ha...haLet Manirathnam use John Williams' music in his film
once.then i'm sure he'll not let ARR score music for his
films:)...:)

Sounds bad, na.

anyway. I am sure that ARR will give great music in Steven's films
whenever that happens, but John Williams will still remain great as a
composer.

What is odd in this? Interviewers pick up names that are in news and
ask other celebrities' view on them. It is a prevalent normal method.

It shows that Interviewer recognizes that ARR is an international
celebrity now.
