I tend to disagree with this point. Lack of appreciation is not a reason to leave one's field. What happens if Hollywood failed to appreciate his work tomorrow? Do you want him to leave Hollywood as well? Personally, I don't want ARR to leave Bollywood or Kollywood (or whatever other woods we have in the film industry). Working against the tide has always been his style I believe, and he will succeed in this again, regardless of government projects or not. We can't be expecting every songs of ARR to be appreciated and his past accomplishments to be remembered. Then again, this is also not the first time ARR has been criticized by the media and public alike. There's just so much of negativity going on right now that people are failing to see the beauty in the CWG theme.
