Re: [arr] rahman sir stop composing for indian films and themes these guys forgotten u

2010-09-02 Thread Gayathri
I tend to disagree with this point. Lack of appreciation is not a reason to
leave one's field. What happens if Hollywood failed to appreciate his work
tomorrow? Do you want him to leave Hollywood as well?

Personally, I don't want ARR to leave Bollywood or Kollywood (or whatever other
woods we have in the film industry). Working against the tide has always been
his style I believe, and he will succeed in this again, regardless of
government projects or not.

We can't be expecting every songs of ARR to be appreciated and his past
accomplishments to be remembered. Then again, this is also not the first time
ARR has been criticized by the media and public alike. There's just so much of
negativity going on right now that people are failing to see the beauty in the
CWG theme. I'm pretty sure that it's only a matter of time before people will
start praising the same.

 1. ARR should stop working on Govt projects which involves political

 2. concentrate only on west and hollywood movies and gain more oscars and
 beome
 more popular ICON on hollywood...

 3. No Indian assignments for another few years and surely people would come
 beyond ARR for great music

Yes, they do. If he gives another hit (does not mean that this is a flop)
 or
gets another international award, people will forget this controversy too.
 :-)
So, there's no need to leave India.
