I think music is never being wasted specilally created by Rahman.... we
are listeners...we are not here to check whether it fits to movie or not. For
me (like non tamilian) most of the times we are not able to watch these Tamil
movies....but we enjoy the music to the fullest... so for a bigger audience
music is never a wastage.       Also how many of us are fortunate enough
to watch "Bombay Dreams"? Mostly none..... But we all are enjoying the
music.... so it doesn't matter whether the music used in "Bombay Dreams" is
wastage or not. Just enjoy the magic/music created by Rahman.       Arijit

feel Rahman has wasted his music. ATM is a nothing movie .. the second half of
the movie is intolerable... except the songs and BGM the film is nothing.....
vijay has danced well for the tunes of ARR.. but the screen play is horrible...

gives the music for the film, and does the re-recording. After that, the
movie is solely in the hands of the director and others. The failure of a
movie AT THE BOX OFFICE does not mean they have devalued Rahman's music. In
ATM's case, its purely the case of the fans not accepting its hero in such a
different film. Movie is not a flop. It will break even. May be in terms of
expectation (of the movie, not the music), it could be termed a failure.
