Re: Howto open a form direct to new mode via midtier
OK - it was working … very subtle difference -- I didn't see it. (Watching Stanley Cup Hockey and playing with Remedy -- probably not a good combo) :) -John On Sat, Jun 2, 2012 at 7:18 PM, John Sundberg wrote: > Midtier 7.6.4 > > > I am trying to open a form directly in "create/submit/new" mode -- vs the > default which seems to be search. > > I have tried a variety of this…. > > ' > http://remedy/arsys/servlet/ViewFormServlet?form=KS_SAMPLE_form&mode=Submit&server=127.0.0.1 > ' > > > It opens the form -- but not in New mode - it is in Search… > > > Seems like mode=Submit is not working??? > > > The docs seem to suggest this should work… > > > Any ideas? > > > -John > > > -- > > *John Sundberg* > Kinetic Data, Inc. > "Your Business. Howto open a form direct to new mode via midtier
Midtier 7.6.4 I am trying to open a form directly in "create/submit/new" mode -- vs the default which seems to be search. I have tried a variety of this…. ' http://remedy/arsys/servlet/ViewFormServlet?form=KS_SAMPLE_form&mode=Submit&server=127.0.0.1 ' It opens the form -- but not in New mode - it is in Search… Seems like mode=Submit is not working??? The docs seem to suggest this should work… Any ideas? -John -- *John Sundberg* Kinetic Data, Inc. "Your Business. DEF Files Not Importing Between Some Servers
Hello List Members, I am working at a customer site were DEF created on a Test server will not import to the Production server but will import on the Development server. The DEF appears to import and no errors are reported within the Admin Tool; however, the form is not imported to the server. After a restart of the arsystem service, the file import properly. We had the same issue a week ago with a DEF file created on the Production server would not import to the Test server. A restart of the TEST server arsystem service corrected the issue. Does anyone have any ideas why this may be occuring? Environment: ARS Server 7.1 Patch 11 (Windows 2003) Database Oracle 11 (Linux) Regards Dave Davis ___ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org attend wwrug12 www.wwrug12.com ARSList: "Where the Answers Are"
