Atrium 8.1 SSO with Kerberos Authentication Error

2013-12-17 Thread BradRemedy
Good Day all

Firstly, thanks for any assistance that you guys can offer with regards to
this error I am getting with Atrium SSO and Kerberos authentication.

I have setup Atrium SSO 8.1 with ITSM 8.1 and SRM 8.1.

After a successful installation, I configured the SSO application to use
remedy for authentication which worked perfectly. I then removed those
settings and setup Kerberos authentication along with the AD keytab file
and all the other settings as per the documentation.

However, when I am testing, I can see the URL being re-directed to the SSO
Authentication server and then opening SRM however we get this error
message below. If we click on OK then it tires again and finally opens SRM
but with no user authenticated. The "Welcome" message has no name with it.

Has anyone experienced this before? What is the best route forward in
resolving this problem?

Thanks again

Brad

Disabling Users or specific companies

2013-12-17 Thread Josh
Hey Everyone,

I am losing a specific company on a multi tendency system. I'd like to ensure
all but about 5 people from said company can access the system. What is the
best way to do that?

We were going to disable access from the firewall however, they still need
access for a handful of people. Disabling there is not feasible for our
environment.

I realize this is not a difficult issue, however I am really looking for what
your personal experiences have led you to being, what you feel is best practice.

Thanks in advance.

Josh

OT: ITIL Foundations certification near King of Prussia/Valley Forge, PA

2013-12-17 Thread Schryver, Curt
I'm looking into a classroom-based (I'm trying to avoid virtual at this point),
instructor-in-the-room ITIL Foundations course near King of Prussia, PA. I
found a few but they all seem to be in Philly. Rather than have to be in the
city three days-in-a-row for an 8:00am class, I asked one particular vendor if
they ever held classes in other areas, like King of Prussia or Valley Forge.
They said they would with three or more interested students. Class seems to be
around $2,000 and everything is provided, including lunches, materials, and an
exam certificate. Anyone interested? OR know of another option?

Re: BMC Mobility and LDAP Authentication

2013-12-17 Thread Pierson, Shawn
Pratik,

Thank you for the response. We have both (although the SSO we are using is
Java Systems Solution SSO, not BMC's fake SSO) but using SSO doesn't prevent
AREA from working either via the Mid Tier or the User Tool so I wouldn't have
expected it to cause an issue for Mobility since authentication should be
happening on the server side. Is there an undocumented config file that I may
need to set up on the mobility server or something?

Thanks,

How is LDAP integrated with the AR System - AREA or SSO.
If you are using AREA it is supported.
