Who else on the list consider 16 days to do a 7.1 to 8.1 upgrade to short and
as you can see from PIKSSO custom authentication the customer has ITSM.

Re: SQL logs in ARS 9x

2015-12-23 Thread Grooms, Frederick W
It looks like it is trying to find if a person has rights to an incident when
you have several groups and a calculated grouping going on. (I see both the
C60900 and C112 columns listed in the SQL)
Also the N is valid (it is used to force a value to be an N Varchar value for a
Unicode database)

CONNECT BY level means it is walking a tree of values (and since there is both
column 112 and 60900 referenced it has to do it twice)

following question:

How do we troubleshoot SQL queries in version 9?

For example, here is the SQL query for a person querying for a single incident
ticket by the Incident ID # INC03475560. In past versions it the SQL would
look something like this:

SELECT T2147.C100161, T2147.C100018, T2147.C100019,
T2147.C10, T2147.C303497300, T2147.C100164, T2147.C7,

In the above statement "zzz" is the user's ID, which I had to remove for
security reasons.

Also small rant: on our system (Linux+Oracle) there's several places where the

If you're including the steps to create the overlays from the pre-overlay days
it's WAY too short for even one environment.

Also, the number of environments here is not discussed. Dev and Prod?
Dev/Test/Prod? Dev/Test/CAT/Prod?

the customer can set the scope or the time line. Not both.
