Re: How to add new values in the Status reason for the Asset?

2016-02-10 Thread Abhishek Anand
Hi Expert,

After performing below steps again its not getting passed:-

1. I have added the required values of Lost and Stolen to the Status Reason,
Field Id [100150] in AST:Attributes form via Dev studio.

2. Also i have configured Lost and Stolen as the Status Reason for the Disposed
Status in the form SYS:Status Reason Menu Items form.

Now i am getting the required value in the Status Reason drop down but after
saving the Status reason , the value is not getting retained and also while
searching the new CI created with specific status reason , its not showing but
still we can get it in Status reason drop down.

Early response will be highly appreciated.

Cheers,

Abhi.

Re: Selecting more than 10 records in MT report error

2016-02-10 Thread Sinclair, Keith
That's what I had thought originally as well. But it can be any random record
set and the results are the same: if over10, kerplunk! If under - always works.

Hi, Keith:

On various forums, it mentions that the error you encountered is a problem with
the Crystal Report formula. From what I read, it appears that errorKind may be
a data type mismatch in a formula.

There was one example where an individual was using an integer in place of a
Boolean value in his formula.

Maybe that is one place you can start.

Well, the report runs fine with 11+ records when called through the User Tool,
so I am thinking it's a mid-tier related issue now. Perhaps hitting a
memory/cache limit?

Hi Claire,
The only time I've seen this is when the FTS index didn't complete because it
was taking too long to run. BMC gave us a fix for the FTS indexing and the
problem was solved. You can test by disabling FTS and try your search again.
If your search works with FTS disabled you can be reasonably sure that's the
problem. Hope this helps

Re: Selecting more than 10 records in MT report error

2016-02-10 Thread Ludwig, Sally
The User tool uses a built in viewer and does not interact with the Crystal
Reports Server/BOXI.So comparing the running of the report in the User Tool
to the running of the report from the Midtier client is comparing 'apples to
oranges'. Most likely there is a Crystal/BOXI setting or webserver setting
that is truncating the qualification and thus generating the error.

On 7.6 - URL http:///
automatically resolves to http:///arsys/shared/login.jsp

But on 9.0.1, we have to specify the complete URL.

Is it something related to the version or config changes?

Re: SRM Group Approval Issue

2016-02-10 Thread Chetan Shinde
so in SRD if you set Approval Type- Group, then there has to be a Approval
Chain defined for the type - Group. Without this configuration the approval
workflow will not trigger and no approvers would be attached. OOTB there
is an approval chain you get for Manager approval(inidividual approval) and
also for Group approval(level approval)
Hope this helps or let me know if you need more info.

Well, the report runs fine with 11+ records when called through the User Tool,
so I am thinking it's a mid-tier related issue now. Perhaps hitting a

That's a good point that I hadn't thought ofor for that mattermove
from accessing Remedy with API to the JDBC layerdepending on what's
needed, it might even be easier than the Rest servicesAND, it doesn't
require any configuration on the server, if not already enabled :)

Thomas,
I see no method through Dev Studio to be able to adjust the visibility of
those fields. In the labels, you can remove the labels of buttons, and the
buttons go away, but removing the labels of the columns doesn't remove the
columnso, CSS manipulation may be the only way.
