How to automatically save a report to a share?

2019-02-13 Thread Thomas Miskiewicz
Hi Listers

I created a smart report broadcast but I need to save the resulting report to a
share. I couldn’t find any OOTB functionality that would do the trick. What am
I missing?

Off the top of my head I’d build a web service that would pull the report from
smart it and then save it do disk. Any other ideas / suggestions?

RE: Threads Min and Max

2019-02-13 Thread Walters, Mark
Have a read of the two posts referenced here -
https://communities.bmc.com/thread/100214?start=0

Also, it has been suggested that, for AR 9.x, it is better to use the same
value for MIN and MAX as this allow Java to create the threads in the most
optimal manner and may yield a performance gain vs threads created over time.
I’ve not seen any data to back up though.

Escalation threads are also a special case – here the MIN/MAX should always be
the same and should match the number of escalation pools that you are using.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] Threads Min and Max

Hi Listers,

in Server Information on Ports and Queues we got these settings:

[11845581.gif]

What is the meaning of Min and Max, min in particular? I’ve seen the suggestion
to set it to 1 to 11 and other times 11 to 11. What the difference? Both seems
to work…

Thank you

Thomas

Re: Threads Min and Max

2019-02-13 Thread Mayuresh Wagh
HI Thomas,

I believe when AR Server service start it starts with Min number of threads
& as the load goes up it start adding threads to cater requests.
It can use max number of threads and cannot go beyond that number.

Mayuresh
