Re: RKM 7.2 - Anyone integrated it with ITSM?

Hi Jennifer/ all,

Fully agree with you haven't seen a BMC product so easy to install..they
have done a good job on that front.

I have an issue with the Authentication method as Remedy, it just doesn't
authenticate, also I would like to integrate it with a custom Application
and if the authentication itself doesn't work I can't proceed :)

It works fine when authentication is "none" or "integrated" but when I use
authentication as Remedy it always pops up the login screen and it won't
accept the credentials :(

Any suggestions?

Regards,

Alty

Alty,

RKM 7.2 is very robust and surprisingly easy to install. It is fully ITSM
integrated, and the integration process is exactly like the 6 and 7
versions. If you've ever installed RKM before, you'll have no problems.

I had one issue with the war file because we have a lot of entries in our
company menu, and it confused RKM to deal with so many operating companies.

BMC got a new war file out to me in about a week's time, which fixed the
issue completely.

Hi all,

Has anyone started using RKM 7.2 in a productive Envt? Also has it been
integrated with Remedy ITSM and are they any known issues while integrating?

Re: Changing banner of all forms

2007-12-02 Thread Consultant Al
Hi,

Technically this should work. you could do it rename the old image to a new
filename and then save your company logo as the original file name that way
your logo will be displayed as the logo on every page.

Just a guess, but I would look at saving the image in a common location or
in the users home directory and then reference it through css. I know you
could do this with the Mid-Tier but I am not sure if it would work on the
client.

Hi listers,

It is difficult to change banner of all the forms with our customer logo. Is
there any common place where we can save our logo and pick up when ever any
form opens?

We are using ARS 7

Thanks and Regards

Re: KM Error on Incident

Hi,

I faced a similar problem and the cause of it was the firewall. By applying
the latest patches of SQL server it was resolved. Please make sure that u
can communicate on the default port that u have kept.

I have SQL2005 and jdbc 1.2 for SQL2005... so should I use jdbc for SQL2000?
The Classpaths and Path is already updated

I will try jdbc for SQL2000.

Thanks.
