I would strongly suggest you export all of your license keys to a file
as well. I installed patch-20 on my development box with no issues, but
lost all of my keys when I installed on production. Support was
gracious enough to let me know that should not have happened. Good
luck!

I know we have discussed this before but I was wondering if any of you
have seen any new problems loading patch 20 for the DST fix. I am
running the following:

Remedy 6.3

Oracle 10g

patch 18

Unfortunately I do not have a development server so once I install patch
20 thats it.

My understanding is you will need to purge the license and then have
licensing generate a Help Desk 6.0 key. If you're setting up a second
instance of Remedy you can always ask for a 90-day demo license.

All -

Please please please... I encourage each and every one of you who use
Firefox to submit a ticket to Remedy Support requesting that they add
support for Firefox to the new support site.

Knowing how much is paid for support; you'd think they could dedicate an
hour or two for cross-browser compatibility checks/development. grr. I
mean, who uses Netscape nowadays? (no flames please!) :-)

This was the response to my request submitted this morning:

Hi Tony,

We inform you that Mozilla Firefox browser 1.7 and higher is not
supported by the web self-service. They are updating the documentation
on the web to reflect this.

This leaves the following as supported browsers:

Internet Explorer version 6 or higher
Netscape version 7.2 or higher

Sorry about that. Please notify us if this helps you.

Anthony,

The easiest way to accomplish this would be to import the records using
the Remedy Import tool located in program files. Basically you open the
form, open the .csv data file and map the values. It's often worthwhile
to look duplicate Request ID and Data tab in preferences before you
begin/

If you've never used the tool before I would suggest testing first with
just a few records.

Just Supervisor. It is also the Supervisor who does the work. In my

the "Supervisor+" from the drop down nothing will show up in the
Supervisor+ queue. Its only when I put in their userid. First letter
