I am presently happily employed at my current employer, however I am interested 
in side work for any companies seeking custom Remedy/ARS development by an 
expert, with their current platform.

I would be interested in any companies local to me (within 100 miles) that 
desire my skillset.   I would only be available for onsite work on the

Remedy Developer  will be a key resource to the ITSM Enterprise Remedy Team. 
Focus is on the design, development, maintenance and support of BMC Remedy 
applications, both custom and out of the box. Ideal candidates will have a 
strong knowledge of the ITSM/CMDB applications.  IN addition this resource will 
also be utilized heavily, Key responsibilities will include transforming 
business requirements into designs, design applications and enhancements within 
the Remedy environment.  Remedy developer will have to function in a classic
Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and customize the Remedy application according to specifications 
using BMC Remedy’s Developer Studio.
• Participate in requirements gathering and perform analysis, design, 
development, testing and deployment of new customers/workflow/.
• Adhere to Remedy Architect defined development standards and change processes.
• Provide development documentation and coordinate moving code between 
development, QA and
• Provide support for the ITA Service Desk and interact with users in 
identifying and resolving Remedy issues.
• Coordinate with users to demonstrate new functionality and conduct user 
acceptance testing
• Integrate outside Databases to the proper areas of the BMC Remedy Application
• Assist with software upgrades and maintenance upgrades on all Remedy/Web 
servers.
• Assist in configuring and installing Web servers to deploy Web-based access 
to Clients, as well as, web reporting capabilities.
• Design, customize and develop custom reports utilizing Crystal Reports and 
Remedy’s report writer.
• Assist in developing training documentation and help facilitate formal 
training sessions for medium to large groups of users.
• Troubleshoot issues and defects within the Remedy application

6+ Years Experience with BMC Remedy AR System
4+ Years Experience as a BMC Remedy Consultant
Remedy Approved Consultant or Remedy Master Developer
Extensive Experience with ITSM Applications
Extensive Experience with BMC Atrium CMDB
Strong Knowledge of SQL and Oracle Databases
Ability to Train/Develop Training Materials
ITIL Foundation Certified

Re: Field 112 and ARS 6.3, how does it work?

Go to the admin tool, then server information for the specific server.   Go to 
the configuration tab, there's an option Enable Multiple Assign Groups

That needs to be checked, then it should work no problem (I use this quite 
often at my present employer and we are running 6.3 as well)

Is there any way to include multiple groups on field 112 to restrict access to 
entries on a system with ARS 6.3?  I know 7.0 allowed you to put multiple 
groups in but I have tried with 6.3 without much success.
