count record in form

2013-01-25 Thread Naoufal El Hilali
Hi All,

I need your help in counting records in a form

I have an EIE instance that pushes some records to a form, and I wanted to
count the records received by EIE.

I have created a display only integer field "count"
created a filter that is executed in submit and sets the value of count to
0 and calls a filter guide
upon its execution the filter guide calls a filter that increment the count
field.

This development did not work for me, and I see nothing executed in filter
logs

Thank you all in advance.

Re: External() operator

2012-11-27 Thread Naoufal El Hilali
Hi Misi,

The string that I posted was in the table qualification now I have added
the last statement ('Status_Reason' != 12000) and created an AL that will
switched between the first qualification and the second one that includes
the statement I have added. I have created a final qualification and assign
it to a field lest say 'MyField' and used that field in the table
qualification as EXTERNAL($MyField$). the new qualification that was
accepted in the set field action is the below one but at execution time
Remedy is frozen.

*( "(((EXTERNAL( """ + $z1D TableQual01$) +
 """)) AND ( """) + $z1D Console View$) +  """ !=  ""Personal"" )) OR ((
""") + $z1D Console View$) +  """ =  ""Personal"" ) AND (EXTERNAL( """) +

 """)) AND ('Status_Reason' != 12000)"*

Thank you

External() operator

2012-11-27 Thread Naoufal El Hilali
Hello All,

Could you please help me pass a qualification to the external operator. I
wanted to pass the following table qualification to a field and use that
field inside the external operator:

*(((EXTERNAL"( $z1D TableQual01$)) AND ( $z1D Console View$ !=
 ""Personal"" )) OR (( $z1D Console View$ =  ""Personal"" ) AND (EXTERNAL(
$z1D TableQual02$ AND ( 'Status' >= $z1D ConsoleStatusLow$) AND (
'Status' <= $z1D ConsoleStatusHigh$) AND (( 'Reported Date' >= $z1D
ConsoleDateLow$) OR ( $z1D ConsoleDateLow$ = $z1D ConsoleDateHigh$)) AND ((
'Reported Date' <= $z1D ConsoleDateHigh$) OR ( $z1D ConsoleDateLow$ = $z1D
ConsoleDateHigh$)) AND (( 'Company' = $z1D Company$) OR ( $z1D Company$ =
 " " )) AND (( 'SLM Status' = $z1D SLA Resolution Status$) OR ( $z1D SLA
Resolution Status$ =  $NULL$ )) AND (EXTERNAL( $z1D AdvancedQual$)) AND
('Status_Reason' != 12000)*

Thank you very much for your help

Hi Fred,

I am not using two forms, both the table and the attachment pool are in one
form (regular form). the table displays the worklog entries according to
some qualification, and this works fine, the attachment pool also works if
I used set field action and copy the value of the attachment from
HPD:WorkLog to the attachment field, but this is not what I wand. I want to
use the table field to filter some entries before I display attachment.

Maybe you need to add JRE path in the environmental variables and
restart your PC, search in google on how to do this. Let me know the
result.
