formulation on date fields
Hello All, We have Mid-tier 7, ITSM 6.3 and ARS 6.3. On Mid-tier 7, the date format in reports (search based reports) is not working correctly. We can't do any further formulation on these date field, and hence with mid-tier 7, we will miss an import feature of search based reports. Hello, We have a form named: STM:CaseHistoryUnionJoinTicket Corresponding to that form, in data base there are T and H tables named T980 and H980. Queues and Threads in ARS6.3
Hi, We have 2 AR Servers, with a configuration of 2 CPUs one is core duo & 16 GB RAM each. The peak concurrent user connections reach 150-200 users. One server is behind load balancer. What should be the value for Min and Max Threads for the Fast and List Queue, or how to determine the right values for the thread. I have installed AR Log Analyzer but it's not working for me. Also in Server Stats the Number of threads goes to maximum value defined for a particular queue. On one server there are 2 private queues, how can we know the process attached to these private queues? Problem in Approving a tickets
Hello All , We are on ITSM 6.3 >From the approval console, if I approve/reject a ticket using the Approve or >Reject button I got the following error : ARERR [8932] You do not have write license ARERR [330] You do not have write access to field : 13191 In my knowledge, for approving any ticket approver doesn't require any license. Disabling of Copy To New functionality
Hello, I want to disable the "Copy To New" for certain forms. One way is to create an active link, which executes on "Copy To New" and give an error message. Is there any better way, such that, this field is disabled for selection also. Traversing from one page to other
Hello, Is there some way to know the previous page in Remedy , while traversing from one page to other. >From the Home Page, I want that on clicking Remedy Requester (link), two >different pages should be opened, based on some value specific to the USER. But as there is no flow written on Home Page for opening "Remedy Requester", So we have to write the flow on opening of "Remedy Requester". However on refreshing the "Remedy Requester" form the flow written by us for opening of another page also runs. How can I overcome this problem? Arimport to for importing data in Remedy 6.3
Hello, Whenever I tried to import some data in "Description" or "Worklog" field having "Enter" (linefeed or a new line character) in it. For example: "To include the purge of ATTRIBUTE_HISTORY table 4.3Patch 4.3 already delivered to Agrate in WW09 2008 for Testings." I got the following error message: Record 1 : Required field cannot be reset to a NULL value -- Summary (ARERR 326) Required field cannot be reset to a NULL value -- Requester Name+ (ARERR 326) Required field cannot be reset to a NULL value -- Requester Login Name+ (ARERR 326) Required field cannot be reset to a NULL value -- Description (ARERR 326) Required field cannot be reset to a NULL value -- Create-date (ARERR 326) And if I remove the new line character For example: "To include the purge of ATTRIBUTE_HISTORY table 4.3Patch 4.3 already delivered to Agrate in WW09 2008 for Testings." When you take an export of data, all the attachments are stored in a separate folder. make sure your .arx file and the folder is in the same path. Now the import tool automatically maps the attachement field. We usually import like this.. Hope this helps. Importing an incident record with attachment in Remedy 6.3
Hello All, I want to import an incident and Change Requests records having attachments using the import tool provided by Remedy. However I don't know the path where I have to store the attachment fields and to which I have to set the "Attachment 1" field. Administrator account Demo
Hello, During some experimenting I have removed Demo from Administrator group, in QA environment. Now I was unable to view the User form by any account and also not able to modify it, by any means. I was also unable to login into the ARADMIN tool. Right now I have a configuration as : Demo/DECO being part of APP-Admin group SANJANAA/SSINGHAL/MKSINGLA being part of Administrator group Also I have tried to add Administrator group in the User from from the database, but that too is not working. Hello, We have DSO enabled for helpdesk form ( all the fields of helpdesk form are tranfered from one server to another) However for a certain helpdesk ticket, after an updation on it, the data from one server could not be replicated to other servers. In the error log (arerror.log)we got the error message: Fri Jun 22 15:34:11 2007 HD003933892 - HPD:HelpDesk Fri Jun 22 15:34:39 2007 Distrib : Incorrect format for a diary field (ARERR 339) Fri Jun 22 15:34:39 2007 Distrib : Pending distributed operation for this entry canceled due to error (ARDSNOTE 3003) Can anyone suggest what could be the reason and what should be done to avoid these kind of cases.
