Multiple Realms in Atrium SSO

2015-04-20 Thread Suwanski Jr., Ronald A.
I have configured a different Realm in AtriumSSO. How do I get the Midtier to
use the new realm for authentication?

Subject: Crystal Reports Server 11.5 against Remedy Oracle database - needs
upgrade

**
Hi Everyone,

We have been happily utilizing our Crystal Reports Server v11.5 since 2008 and
it just plods along day after day churning out hundreds of scheduled reports
 until two weeks ago.

All previously scheduled reports continue to work just fine. But since our
reports go to external customers those companies frequently have distribution
changes we need to make. Also since our business expands we have new
customers to send our awesome reports too.

We can no longer make distribution changes or have newly added objects run
successfully. When those items run we receive the same error:

Error Message: Failed to open the connection. C:\Program Files\Business
Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise
11.5\Data\procSched\rempwrpt01.reportjobserver\~tmpb6870cfdaade6129.rpt

So we restarted the internal servers numerous times. Then we restarted the
whole application. No change. I've tried making the changes from 3 different
PCs in two different cities on 3 different network carriers. Same results.

We know the connection works because there are hundreds that run successfully
on a daily basis using the same credentials.

So I finally decided to contact SAP (never an award winning experience) to find
out our version is no longer supported. Oh well, so sad ... too bad ...
goodbye. We have to upgrade. I don't have a problem doing the upgrade but it
is not something that just happens overnight and will likely take a couple of
months in reality.

In the meantime we get about 5-10 requests a week. Ok, we've established
workarounds for this which require a great deal of manual report running on my
part but that's my problem.

What I'd like to know is what's the most current version of Crystal
Reports Server any of you are running? The compatibility matrix mentions
Crystal Report Server 2008 only, not the most current version SAP Crystal
Solution 2011 ... or maybe they are the same and I'm confused.

Did you do an upgrade and if so what gotchas did you run into with 'already
scheduled' reports?

We're on
ARS v7.5p3 server
Oracle 10g
Sun Solaris
Crystal Reports 11.5 on a VM on unix

I'll appreciate any info you can provide. If I haven't included some info that
makes the story clearer just let me know. I'm going to take up drinking
shortly since everything I'm touching in 2012 needs an upgrade! Must be my
punishment for a great month of weather in March in the midwest ... lol

Thanks,
Susan
