It's a shame as it was a good solid release. Good news, we still support SSO Plugin for AR System 6.3 and I believe others have had success connecting Midtier 7.0 (for better performance) to AR System 6.3, so there's still life in the system yet. ___ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org attend wwrug11 www.wwrug.com ARSList: Where the Answers Are

I agree John... I have been around since version 2.0 and I would have to say 6.3 was a good one. Re: 'The End' of support for Remedy 6.3.
The BMC Product Support Policy can be found here: http://www.bmc.com/support/product-support-policy.html Because the BMC support policy is version based and not time based, there is no specific end-of-support date currently for 7.1.00. However, do keep in mind that 7.1.00 was released 31-Aug-2007. If you take a look at the support lifecycle of AR System historically, you'll find that AR System releases are typically supported for 36-54 months, with an average of about 4 years. Thus, were I to provide guidance, I would not expect AR System 7.1.00 to be supported much past mid-CY 2011 since that would be the 4 year mark. I would recommend that any customer who is still on AR System 7.1.00 start planning in the next 6-9 months to upgrade to a later version. -David J.
