Hi, Do you have some network adaptor in your PC?, Have you created any connecting string for oracle. Try configuring them if not there. Check the compatability matrix. I don't believe that 6.3 Server is supported on XP. You would probably be better off using Win 2K3 Server or one the other MS OS server versions that are supported.
