I entered ARSYS.ARDBC.LDAP in the Available Vendor Names box, then copy/pasted the value from the Available Vendor Tables located on the ARS 6.3 server "ldap://LDAPSERVER/DC=pbsj,DC=com??sub?(objectclass=user)" and clicked the Load button.
However the ARSYS.ARDBC.LDAP option does not stick. I have to enter it every time I need to create a new Vendor form. This is not a major issue but I consider this to be a bug. On the ARS 6.3 server I can see about 50 Vendor Tables when I select the ARSYS.ARDBC.LDAP Vendor Name. I searched the ARS 7.x pdfs and a few pdfs from BMC's site and also Google but did not find any reference for having to manually enter the Vendor Name and Vendor Table. In the Integrating-700.pdf on page 466 step 5 is "Select a vendor name, for example, ARSYS.ARDBC.LDAP, in the Available Vendor Names field." Do others consider this a bug? If so, I will report it to our support vendor who will in turn report it to BMC. Thanks. There are only two available selections: REMEDY.ARDBC.FLASHBOARD.FORM and REMEDY.ARDBC.SERVER.ADMINISTRATION. No LDAP option available. I have tried a number of things and have restarted the server several times. I have not discovered any errors in the plugin log or the error log file. On our ARS 6.3 system the ARDBC LDAP Vendor form is listed as ARSYS.ARDBC.LDAP. I am using the same settings and accounts on the ARS 6.3 server and the ARS 7.0.1 Patch 1 server. How can I get the LDAP Vendor form option to display?
