I was thinking the problem was in the business time workflow.  Maybe a Set 
fields is putting Date data into a Date/time field.

Hello Claire,
   Check the following:

   * The date(s) you added are in the correct format
   * The year is correct - It may be trying to produce a negative date
 result


If you can reliably duplicate the error, try to get some logs.  That

I've seen similar when trying to do something like a date/time calculation
against a date only entry (or something similar).
So I'd have to side with Fred and ask the same. Double check your new
holiday entry and make sure it's correct.
