Be aware that SQL Express has a 4GB database size limit. If you plan on running ITSM 7 then you may have problems. I have Version 7.1 installed on my laptop with MS SQL express 2005. It works fine. Only issue I had was with identifying the server. My install expected \SQLEXPRESS after my laptop name which is what I used when installing SQL. It was actually easier than using full blown SQL! I tried the express edn with 7.0 and the install failed even after repeated attempts and tweaks. Dunno abt 7.1 - Murtuza.
