Resolved: Help: Oracle Error - New Installation 7.5P4 ARS
All configurations correct. Nothing to Kb's had would have helped. We use LDAP to authenticate, by chance triying to tnsping "sid" from the database server would not resolve. Issue firewall was not configured to allow bi-directional connection via the ldap port between server and ldap. ~(Got to love F/W). Thanks again Fred for responding. Re: Help: Oracle Error - New Installation 7.5P4 ARS
Thanks FRED, I'm running the installer as root and root is a member dba group. However, what I found was KA306790, which stating that the service name cannot be fully qualified. So i'm waiting on my dba to change the tnsnames.ora and restart the listner. Crossfingers! Re: Help: Oracle Error - New Installation 7.5P4 ARS
Since you didn't specify what OS I can only be general INVALID_OCI_LIB_PERMISSION sounds like it is the permissions to the actual Oracle library files on the server. Perhaps you don't have rights to the directories they reside in.
