Re: Modifying a Webservice: unmapped fields keep showing up in the WSDL.
Hi Ray, Try the following; - Right Click on web page - Hold down Shift - Select Refresh Remember that you can also cut the fields instead of just un-mapping them. Hi: I have created a webservices object. When I unmap a field in the Input Mapping window and save the webservice the field still shows up on the webservices when I click on the View in the WSDL tab or point my browser to the WSDL location. Do I have to do anything else for the unmapping to take effect? Re: Modifying a Webservice: unmapped fields keep showing up in the WSDL.
Hi: That didn't help. This may be related too. I deleted a field from the form and added a new one. I go to the Input mapping. I still see the old field and donot see the new field. How do I force it to refresh. Re: Modifying a Webservice: unmapped fields keep showing up in the WSDL.
Ray, I have had this problem in the past too. The WSDL will update but for some reason seems to take a long time to do so. Clearing out your internet history or refreshing the page (F5) sometimes works but on other occasions it doesn't. There probably is a trick to it but I don't know what it is...but your WSDL will update...eventually. What I did find as well is, if you want to get the update deployed directly then you have to look at your cache settings. Try flushing the cache. Re: Modifying a Webservice: unmapped fields keep showing up in the WSDL.
Hi Ray, I've had this problem in the past. If you go to the mapping for your web service, you should be able to right click each of your unmapped elements. If you cut them, they should then be removed from your WSDL. If they are still not, try flushing your cache on you Mid-Tier server. Re: Modifying a Webservice: unmapped fields keep showing up in the WSDL.
Ray, Similar thing was happened with me. After doing change, see again in web service object- GoTo WSDL- click view and then see removed elements should not be therein WSDL. If you are seeing any old image of WSDL in that case cache should be removed properly. Once you have done changes do not forget to flush mid-tier cache and your browser cache.
