Pager Service in ITSM7

2008-08-05 Thread Howard Richter
Hi to All,

A strange question, has anyone been able to configure the Pager Service in
ITSM7 to talk to an email based paging service (and if so how)?

Thanks

If your goal is to have ITSM7 emails go out to a pager rather than just a group
or individuals, what you can do is create a "fake" Person record, assign the
pager email address to that record, then add them to the group and mark them as
unavailable for assignment. The email will go out to everyone in the group
including the pager, but tickets won't be assigned directly to the pager.

Does this work for what you are trying to do?

Thanks,

Shawn
