the Asset?

Hi Expert,

After performing below steps again its not getting passed:-

1. I have added the required values of Lost and Stolen to the Status Reason,
Field Id [100150] in AST:Attributes form via Dev studio.

2. Also i have configured Lost and Stolen as the Status Reason for the
Disposed Status in the form SYS:Status Reason Menu Items form.

Now i am getting the required value in the Status Reason drop down but after
saving the Status reason , the value is not getting retained and also while
searching the new CI created with specific status reason , its not showing but
still we can get it in Status reason drop down.

Early response will be highly appreciated.

Cheers,

Abhi.

Hi,
You have asked the same question on the BMC Communities where information has
been shared on how to achieve this (along with the links I have sent).
Not sure why you are also still asking for the information here?

I suggest that you continue to work with the users on the Communities along
with all the available information on how to add a Status Reason to other
applications (as the same principle applies for AST:Attributes).

Kind Regards,

Carl Wilson

Yes, Carl is right on 8.1 Status Reason is housed on AST Attributes so you
will have to add the values using Dev Studio.

Re: How to add new values in the Status reason for the Asset?

2016-01-18 Thread Virgilio Felonia
You have to edit the Status Reason attribute from the Class Manager. Add
the values and the ID values (1000;2000;3000;4000;5000;6000). Make sure you
save it and it should synchronize with the master object
