Re: Is there a plugin for Tivoli monitoring for configuring performance-monitoring service targets in BMC SLM?

Service Impact Manager exists, it just has a new name. There is a plugin for
Netcool somewhere. It might be called Omnibus?

Thanks Patrick, but that document is from 2003. :) It doesn't look like BMC
Service Impact Manager even exists anymore. The document also doesn't specify
how it would integrate with SLM.

2015-06-26 Thread Stanley Feinstein
Hi Lee,

Yes. Omnibus is from Kovair Software. Project Remedies is a Kovair
partner. Omnibus has a large number of pre-built interfaces between various
products. One is Remedy. Tivoli is another. Omnibus sits in the middle.

saw this..

as far as SLM -- SLM works around the model you have created or installed
(COTS).. so yes SLM works with what ever you ingested

I have not integrated this.
