I'm surprised that the JSS guys haven't responded to you, but we use their product and it works well. It was cheaper to simply purchase that than to spend time trying to get BMC's solution to work with the oddities in my environment. I have been using a modified version of code provided by BMC. It was written for 32bit systems and errors out when attempting to use it on a 64bit system. I just wanted to know if there are any solutions out there for 64bit environments. ___ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org attend wwrug12 www.wwrug12.com ARSList: Where the Answers Are Private and confidential as detailed here: http://www.sug.com/disclaimers/default.htm#Mail . Re: Midtier SSO for 7.6.04 64bit
Hi Shawn, I did reply to explain there shouldn’t be any problem as the C plugin server is still 32 bit and I will be happy to help with whatever issues he is having. Compiling or otherwise. We don’t always push our product, I am, and have been, an AR System guy long before an SSO architect :) Thanks for the kind words Danny -Original Message- From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:arslist@ARSLIST.ORG] On Behalf Of Pierson, Shawn Sent: 14 February 2012 15:55 To: arslist@ARSLIST.ORG Subject: Re: Midtier SSO for 7.6.04 64bit I'm surprised that the JSS guys haven't responded to you, but we use their product and it works well. Re: Midtier SSO for 7.6.04 64bit
Hi, What are the errors? I think the BMC open source code is for the C plugin which is still 32 bit even on the latest builds. So it should work.
