Re: Quick patching question
I would recommend one at a time.if you check the BMC docs on this I believe the order is 'Primary' first, then shut it down, and do each server as the only server active in the group, one at a timebut it's been awhile since I read the docs. We are going to be patching our servers tonight. We have a 3 server, server group working against a single DB. All are virtual machines running in a Windows 2008 environment. We are Patching ARS 7.6.04 from Patch 1 to Patch 5. We don't need to worry about keeping our environment available as we are not yet in production. My question is, should we do this 1 server at a time, or can we patch them at the same time? Any input would be most appreciated! -- Warren R.
