Re: SRM IMPORT 7.6.04.01 ARERR 191005

Found out a few things on this::
 #1 -- SRM 7.6 needs a Patch to export data properly.. it does not currently
correctly export...
Before you export -- ensure you have this hotfix .. (not 7.6.04.01)

When does 7.6.04.02 come out ?

So at what point does a hotfix get sent out -- when you find the problem,
why not put out another Patch to fix this issue instead?
Maybe it is not completed tested.. or there are unique circumstances.. not
sure..

A hotfix is established when someone discovers a bug in a branch of code,
but can't wait for the next patch. That user gets the hotfix, ideally,
everyone else gets it in the next patch.sometimes, you need to get them to
issue another hotfix after the next patch is released because they didn't
incorporate that hotfix into the mainstream patch (has happened to me
numerous times)

Re: SRM IMPORT 7.6.04.01 ARERR 191005

2011-09-14 Thread Grooms, Frederick W
While I don't know about the import error I believe I understand the note...

ARNOTE 1101 is referring to the popup message
   The preceding message occurred during the execution of {type} {name} --
{action}
not the actual error, so you get an error and a note at the same time.

I believe you only see the Note part if you are an Admin. Normal users won't
see the part that tells that workflow generated the error.

** Anyone see this:: it is a Ridiculous error -- Zero information with it..

Upon import:: putting all the files in the correct folders, because the export
does not do it correct:: Sigh
I get the following::
(ARERR 191005) ← error

The preceding message occurred during the execution of active link
SRS:IME:Import_SendActionPromoteStagedRecords -- action 1. (ARNOTE 1101)← note
(so which is it? A note or an Error?)

Opening Active link Shows Squat:: no else if – no errors..

Going to Debug Next ::  Do they Test this Stuff ???
