You can use the driver program to create overlays. You can use BPCU utility. Contact BMC support for overlay hashfile and other required details. HTH. You are on a post 7604 version but on a pre-8.1 version. In 7604 and beyond we have overlays. Did you not create your modifications in overlay layer? BMC recommendation is to modify in Best practice mode. If you have not followed reco, then alternate choice is to use BPCU utility to move changes that you made in base layer to overlay layer. In 8.1 and beyond we have granular overlays. So when you upgrade from 8.0 to 8.1 and beyond after AR upgrade, you will need to run granular utility to make effective use of granular overlays and save on some reconciliation time.
