Hi, I am not using the Foundation Data Loader. I am planning to rename the Support Groups. The ITSM Applications are running on 7.0.03, Patch 7. I plan to do the following: 1. ARX out data for the following forms: CTM:Support Group, HPD:Help Desk, CHG:Infrastructure Change, PBM:Problem Investigation, TMS:Task. 2. Rename the Support Group Name to a new name. Support Company and Support Organization remains the same. 3. Import the ARX files back to the various forms (update records based on Request ID) mentioned in Point 1. Would this help? I also notice that the Long Group Name field is not updated on the Group form. Anne, I think the tool is great. I have had no problems using the update features. It does not handle customization fields you've added, but we have had success renaming Support Groups, and company names. The name you are change to, must be unique, so this makes it so that you cannot change one group to an existing name. Does this work for support group name changes too? I have ITSM 7.0.3 and am looking to upgrade to ARS 7.1. We are also in the middle of group name changes. If this will update all the related tickets and assignment and approval rules, etc. when I use it to update a support group, that'd be a lifesaver. Does anyone have experience using this for support groups? How well does it work? Download ITSM patch 9005 this includes both the Data Management tool as will as the Data Wizard. May I suggest you look at the Data Management Tool. There is an option to rename a Company, and it will adjust all data (except custom fields) accordingly.
