SRM field expansion
Hey everyone, Wondering if anyone has expanded the Mapping Formula Field on the SRD:QuestionTargetDataMappingDialog form from 255 char to a clob field? Looking for any hidden pitfalls, etc. Thanks for your help. Rebecca ___ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org attend wwrug11 www.wwrug.com ARSList: Where the Answers Are
Re: SRM field expansion
If that field ever shown on the table for the UI mapping, then you can *not* expand it beyond 255. Andrew. Re: SRM field expansion
Rebecca, I just went through this (SRM 2.2). My notes: Per BMC: - This was happening due to known Defect SW00349905. What we need to do is : - Simply increase the size of the Mapping Formula field to 4000 chars. - Also increase the size of the Form Name field on the SRM:MasterDataMappingList form. The list of forms in v2.2 is: SRD:QuestionTargetDataMappingDialog SRD:STAGE:MasterDataMappingList SRD:STAGE:SourceToTargetDataAssociations SRM:MasterDataMappingList SRM:SourceToTargetDataAssociations - I haven't experienced any issues since doing what they said.
