View form issues

2007-01-19 Thread Rocky Rockwell

Folks,

I have been trying to create a view form from one remedy/bmc server to
another. It should not be rocket science, but maybe it is.

I have the db link setup and this is what I am putting into the field to
load

[EMAIL PROTECTED] When I push the load button it says
Requested database table not found. Please check the spelling (table
name is case-sensitive) (ARERR 481).

I have another view that is going to a completely different oracle DB
and it is working.

Config1: Solaris 9/oracle 10g/ARS 7.0.1
Config2: Solaris 9/oracle 9i/ARS5.1.2

Tell me it is not rocket science.

Does the same syntax work from a SQL Plus prompt within the ARSystem
database?

Yep, I do not understand it. I am sure it is something obvious, but I
cannot see the forest for the trees.

Never mind. It was not rocket science, but it was being stupid on my part.

The owner.CHG_Change needed to be OWNER.CHG_CHANGE.

Just in case other have issues.
