Position: Blade Logic System
Location: Kansas City, MO
Contract: Long Term

Job Description:

Required Skills:
-Experience with BMCs BladeLogic application.
-BS in Computer Science, or Information Systems.
-Experience managing and supporting the software patching of servers.
-Detailed experience supporting UNIX server operating systems.

Blade Logic
This position is responsible for the software patching of servers using BMCs
BladeLogic application. This role requires a process oriented, proactive
individual that will take ownership to ensure the timely application of
server patches and ensure the health of the BladeLogic system. The ideal
candidate will have experience in the utility industry or other 24x7,
regulated environments.

Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the optimum design, configuration, and use of the BladeLogic
system
2. Create, schedule and manage patching jobs.
3. Maintain and update server patching schedules.
4. Participate in weekly team meetings.
5. Develop and maintain metrics to proactively identify and address
BladeLogic performance issues.
6. Work with vendors to ensure timely resolution of software and system
issues.
7. Mentor and teach other team members and field support personnel.
8. Document operating processes and procedures relating to the server
patching.
