My contact information is below. *Position: 19233 - Hyperion Developer / Administrator* *Location: Bellevue, WA* *Contract: 5 Months* * * *Job Description: * · Maintains and administers currently implemented Hyperion System 11 environment, supporting Supply Chain Operations analytics. · Designs, Develops, Tests, Implements and Supports Hyperion solutions to a variety of customers, primarily for the supply chain organization at the client. · Provides client support and client training. · Manages security. · Keeps the wheels turning and the business on line for a critical tool for Inventory Planning and Procurement and Demand Planning teams within Supply Chain. · This role is the End to End Hyperion application support and development lead. *Essential Functions Tasks: * · Manages lights-on activities: Ensures full system functionality and uptime · Verify services are running, reset as necessary · Ensure Cube build completes successfully · Repair, reset or alter configurations settings for all Hyperion modules as needed · Manage security access and provisioning · Manage security schemes for user groups and project folders (native and MSAD) · Provision appropriate level of data/functionality access to all approved groups · Manage the application backup process. · Restore to production as needed. · Modify backup scripts to add new cubes. · Break fix and production issue analysis and resolution. · Manage issues surrounding hardware resources, network usage, JAVA versions and server reboots. · Coordinate resources for SSL issues certificate expirations and installs. · Communicate relevant issues to Essbase Users and Essbase Developer groups. · Engage internal support teams and/or Vendor support for Hyperion system related issues. · Restart jobs upon problem resolution. · Hyperion cube development and maintenance. · Update and maintain Calcs and formulas. · Create outlines, load rules, Calcs and formulas for on boarding new cubes. · Maintain SSIS and Hyperion automation scripts. · Maintain error and build logs backups. · Coordinate timing dependencies of cube builds. · Hyperion Web analysis reports development and administration. · Answer support questions to the general mailbox and enterprise ticketing (Remedy) tool. · Provide product demonstrations and training as needed to end users. · Oversee new client software installations, system upgrades and patches. · Provide support for new hardware projects related to Hyperion. · Provide guidance to management of matters related to Hyperion. *Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:* · 7-9+ Years in Software and/or Application Development · Minimum 5+ Hyperion development or administration; calc scripts creation, load rules, member formulas MAXL development, partitioning; MDX; ASO/BSO; and web analysis reports · 3+ Years with SQL Server queries (create views). · Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly and concisely communicate information at multiple levels, adapting easily to change. · Familiar with batch file processing. · Strong business and technical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous deliverables to all levels of the organization. · Experience with Hyperion System 11 · Ability to build cubes without AIS. · Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and end-to-end application lifecycle management (ALM). *Preferred skills:* · Wireless industry experience desirable. · 3+ years team lead or other equivalent leadership experience. · Certified Hyperion Administrator · Supply chain reporting for analytics and operational reporting standards / strategy road mapping. · Understanding supply chain operations: procurement, demand planning, inventory, sales and distribution, replenishment. · Able and willing to cross into other technology spaces to find the best tools and technology to solve the business problem. · Has had technical leadership experience on at least 5 large scale projects, providing leadership to at least 4 developers on each project, with projects impacting multiple business units and with development timelines greater than 4 months each. *Notes from the Hiring Manager: * · *Client only uses the Essbase and Web Analysis components of Hyperion.
