It did seem like a weird location to me. To bad they didn't succeed. My tummy will miss them... --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, charlie leonard [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: thats been closed for a while now. not sure why. probably not enough income from the place, its also not in the best of areas. they probably thought theyd get more visitors then they did. - Never miss an email again! Although I'm sure my current shape took a beating from the place, I must say Checker's had much better burgers than McD's, Burger King and Wendy's. Always fresh, particularly the onions. I too will miss them. What now of that building? What an eyesore it will become in such a visible spot. --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, Hinge [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: It did seem like a weird location to me. To bad they didn't succeed. Since they've boarded it up, it already looks like an eyesore. Too bad. I really liked Checkers. --- In AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com, justifiedright [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Although I'm sure my current shape took a beating from the place, I must say Checker's had much better burgers than McD's, Burger King and Wendy's. What now of that building? What an eyesore it will become in such a visible spot. it wil probably sit empty untill someone rents or buys it. i dont think that will happen in the near future though. it looks a lot better then some of the other eye sores in the city! - Never Miss an Email Stay connected with Yahoo!
