I find it ridiculous that this issue would be debated. There are crime issues and the cameras are needed. Raise the taxes 12% (5% to cover budget / 5% more police / 2% Cameras). How about putting the cameras in, cutting taxes 10%, cutting tons of fat in city payroll and budget, and hiring/electing people who can manage to balance the budget after 5-6 years on the job? Yahoo!
